Numerous higher education institutes in Nigeria and worldwide highly regard and accept IJMB Exams. More and more institutions across the nation are accepting certificates/results.
IJMB (Interim Joint Matriculation Board) is an accredited and approved Advanced level program overseed by Ahmadu Bello University and has a coordinating body in numerous tertiary institutions as well as study centers across Nigeria.
IJMB is recognized by the Federal Government as an examination body for both Ordinary and Advanced Level Exams through its various educational entities.
The IJMB test result is mentioned as one of the permitted means of entrance in the JAMB handbook, and the National Education Research and Development Council (NERDC) has approved the syllabus.
Higher education institutions in Nigeria have been accepting applicants with IJMB results into their undergraduate programs for many years.
Points to Note about IJMB
The Federal Government has approved the IJMB, a program that is utilized to get admission into universities in Nigeria and overseas.
If the IJMB program is successful, you will be admitted to the university of your choice and start at the 200th level.
Assured by IJMB Each year, almost 70% of the approximately 20,000 students who submit applications for the program are accepted into their selected course and school at the 200 level.
IJMB is accredited by NUC (Nigeria University Commission), and it offers an Advanced level test that allows candidates to enter 200 levels via Direct Admission.
Thankfully, the only requirement for admission into the program is your O’level (Ordinary Level) score. Indeed, applicants with a result in limbo are still eligible.
The three A/L IJMB Subject Combinations for that specific course, whether it falls under the category of Art, Science, or Social Sciences, must be selected by potential candidates in addition to their preferred course.
When a candidate applies for the IJMB, they must attend lectures at their designated Study Center for a minimum of nine (9) months before being required to take the final test.
Those who are successful must then utilize their IJMB certificate to get direct entry into the 200-level program at any higher institution in Nigeria.
Advantages of IJMB
- Get entrance to any university’s 200 level.
- 100% Entrance Assured.
- No Jamb.
- Affordable prices.
Basic IJMB Requirements
Your O’Level score is one of the main prerequisites for admission. Nevertheless, applicants without a final decision are still welcome. These are all the fundamental IJMB criteria.
- Birth Certificate
- Four (8) Passport Photographs
- O’Level Result (Max of 2 sittings)
- Certificate of State of origin (Optional)
