UNIUYO Postgraduate Admission Requirements

1. All applicants must have received a credit pass at the Ordinary Level in five pertinent courses, including English Language, in no more than two sittings. Candidates who received their “O” Level exam results before 2017 must have their certificates, not statements of results or result slips.

2. English Literature must be one of the five appropriate ordinary-level topics that applicants for the LLM and Ph.D. in Law have earned a credit pass in.

3. Candidates entering the Faculty of Agriculture must have credit passes in chemistry as one of the five pertinent ordinary-level topics.

4. All applicants will take a screening test that covers the department’s oral interaction and specialty area.

5. All applicants must have an NYSC Discharge Certificate, an Exemption Certificate, or an Exclusion Certificate. The application form or the screening test must both include one of these certificates.

6. Applicants who earned their first degrees through remedial programs must provide proof that they completed external remediation—through WASCE, NECO, or NABTEB—of the pertinent subjects for their programs.

7. Candidates must also fulfill any additional requirements for their programs set forth by the department.

8. Candidates must send the school three letters of recommendation and their certified academic transcripts.
