UNIBEN Admission Requirements for UTME and Direct Entry Candidates
UTME Requirements
- Candidates are required to have at least 5 credit passes in their O’level result (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) including English and Mathematics in not more than two (2) sittings.
- Candidates are required to have chosen the correct JAMB subject combination for their preferred course.
- Candidates must sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and score at least 180 to be eligible for UNIBEN Post-UTME and admission screening exercise.
- Candidates must choose UNIBEN as their first choice of Institution.
- Candidates who do not participate in the UNIBEN screening exercise will not be considered for admission.
- Lastly, candidates must be aged 16 on or before October this year and also beat UNIBEN departmental cut-off mark for their chosen course.
UNIBEN Admission Requirements For Direct Entry 2024/2025
Below are the University Of Nigeria admission requirements for Direct Entry (DE) candidates:-
- Candidates are required to have at least 5 credit passes in their O’level result (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) including English and Mathematics in not more than two (2) sittings before they can study at UNIBEN.
- Direct Entry candidates are required to purchase the Direct Entry form through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and UNIBEN.
- Candidates must ensure that they have chosen the correct JAMB subject combination for their course.
- To study at UNIBEN, Direct Entry Candidates must ensure to choose UNIBEN as their first choice of Institution.
- Candidates who do not participate in the UNIBEN screening exercise will not be considered for admission.
- Candidates must reach the age of 16 by October this year.
- UNIBEN accepts (First Class Degrees, Second Class, and Upper credit) in related fields.
- UNIBEN also accepts a minimum of Merit Pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND), and other Advanced Level Certificates depending on the course.
- In some cases, UNIBEN accepts JUPEB and IJMB A’level results but the candidate must have a good result before applying.
