St. Francis College of Education Admission Requirements

WASSCE Holders:

– Must have Credit A1-C6 in six (6) subjects, including three (3) core subjects (English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science, or Social Studies) and three (3) elective subjects relevant to the chosen course of study.

SSSCE Holders:

– Must possess credit passes A-D in Six (6) subjects, including Three (3) Core subjects (English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies), plus Three (3) Elective subjects relevant to the course of study.

Awaiting Results:

Candidates awaiting results (WASSCE or NABPTEX) are eligible to apply.

ABCE Holders

1. Must have passed in three (3) subjects. Additionally, they must have credit passes in five (5) subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, or Social Studies, in the General Business Certificate Examination (GBCE).

GCE Advance Level Holders:

1.  Must possess passes in three (3) subjects. Moreover, they must have credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, and a Science or Arts subject, depending on the course studied.

Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Applicants

Various pathways are available for TVET applicants based on their certification and relevant trade areas.

Foreign Qualifications:

– Applicants with foreign qualifications will be assessed by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) to determine eligibility for admission to the college.
