How to Apply for the National Common Entrance Examination Online

The registration cost for the 2024 NCEE is Four Thousand-Five Hundred naira (N4,500.00). Headteachers and parents or guardians who are already registered users should sign in using their credentials before registering. New applicants are to take the following actions:

  1. Visit the NCEE website at https://ncee.neco.gov.ng/.
  2. Create an online account using your phone number and email address.
  3. Activate the account by following the instructions sent to your email.
  4. Pay the N4,500.00 registration fee through the NECO TSA using any of the following payment options: CARD, BANK BRANCH, USSD, INTERNET BANKING, or WALLET.
  5. Fill in the candidate’s bio-data and upload a passport-sized photograph.
  6. Print the photo card.

NOTE

  • Payments for the NCEE should only be made on the official NECO portal.
  • Changes to the candidate’s name, date of birth, or state of origin will not be permitted after registering online.
  • Qualified candidates who chose oversubscribed colleges may be placed in an available alternative college based on the carrying capacities of Federal Unity Colleges.
  • The registration website will close at 8:00 am on Saturday, June 3, 2024.

National Common Entrance Examination Format

The National Common Entrance Examination NCEE consists of two papers and each of the papers consists of two parts (A and B).

Paper I

  • Part A: Mathematics and Basic Science and Technology
  • Part B: English and National Values Education

Paper II

  • Part A: Quantitative and Vocational Aptitude
  • Part B: Verbal Aptitude
