How to Link Email Address to JAMB Profile 2024
Dear candidates, your profiles were created during JAMB/DE registration when you sent your NIN to 55019. Using your NIN, JAMB has imported your National ID card information into your JAMB profile. Therefore, the information on your NIN is the same as that on your JAMB profile.
Unlike the previous year’s candidates, you will not be able to log in to that profile because there is a new method to enable you to do that.
The new procedure requires all UTME and DE candidates to link their emails with their JAMB profile first using SMS platforms. If you remember, during your JAMB UTME/DE registration, you were not asked to provide an email for the profile creation. You only used your email to buy a PIN; you didn’t use it to create a profile.
In order to log in to your profile, starting from the 2021/2022 admission year, you must create an email if you do not already own one then link it with your existing JAMB profile. This method will be made simple for you with this post.
How to Link Your Working Email with Your JAMB Profile Using SMS
Below is step-by-step guidance on how to link your existing email to the JAMB Profile. Please note that this method may not work for some time as JAMB is having a problem with this method at the moment.
- On your mobile phone (using the line used to get your profile code), text as follows: “email “input your email” and send to 55019.
- For example, text email theemail@gmail.com theemail@gmail.com
- Now, send it to 55019
- Note that you will, first of all, write “email” followed by space, followed by the email, followed by space, and then the email again
- This is what it will look like, email myemail@gmail.com myemail@gmail.com
- After sending the message to 55019, your line will be debited at N50
- After this, log in to your email and look for an email message from JAMB
- The email message will contain a unique password (e.g. candb26ec1) that you will be using to log in to your JAMB profile.
- Now, visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/login. Here, you will use the email and the password received from JAMB to you to log in.
- C’est Fini!
How To Link Your Email to the JAMB Profile Using a CBT Centre
Some CBT Centres already linked some candidate’s emails right away, please confirm if yours has been linked. If you check your slips and you see your email address on it, then there is no need for you to link your email address as it has already been linked by the CBT center.
- If you don’t have the phone number used for the JAMB registration again.
- If you don’t have a phone to do the SMS or access to an email address.

- On this page, you can “Access CAPS” (on the left) or “Check Admission Status” (on the right). Since we’re talking of the CAPS checking, for now, click on the former.
- On the next page, you will see “Welcome” at the top of the page and other facilities by the left of the page.
