- Candidates must have an SSCE (WAEC, NECO, GCE) with credit passes in at least five subjects, including Chemistry, Physics, and Biology for Science courses, or Mathematics, English, Economics, Commerce or Accounting, Government, and Biology/Agric. Science for Management Sciences. All these must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Candidates with a Grade II Teacher’s Certificate with credit or merit passes in at least five subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, and Economics can apply.
- Candidates must meet the university’s JAMB cut-off marks.
- Your JAMB subject combinations must include Mathematics, Economics, or Accounting or Commerce.
Direct Entry Requirements
If you are applying for admission using the direct entry mode, these are the requirements you must meet.
- You must have five credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or GCE at no more than two sittings, including at least two at the Advanced (‘A’) Level GCE.
- Alternatively, you must have four credit passes at the Advanced Level or its equivalent.

You must have acceptable credit passes in a UAM Diploma in the relevant field, as determined by UAM from time to time, in addition to GCE or O’ Level credit passes in English and Mathematics.
