FUTO Admission Requirements for UTME and Direct Entry Candidates

This section of the article has been categorized into two sections for a better understanding. They  are:-

  2. Admission Requirements for Direct Entry (DE) Candidates.

Eligibility Requirements

Below is a list of candidates who are eligible to apply for admission at FUTO:-
  1. Candidates who have selected FUTO as their preferred choice of institution during their UTME registration
  2. Direct Entry candidates either from FUTO pre-degree programs like JUPEB, any of their diploma programs or from other institutions.
  3. DE candidates from polytechnics and others with ND and HND certificates.
  4. Transferred students from other universities.

FUTO Admission Requirements for UTME Candidates.

WAEC & NECO (‘O’ Level) Requirements

Candidates are required to obtain a minimum credit pass which must include English Language and Mathematics plus any other 3 subjects that are related to their preferred course of study.

FUTO Admission Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates.

  1. Candidates are required to have HSC/GCE ‘A’ level passes in any three of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Economics in not more than two sittings. Credit passes must be in line with the basic minimum requirements at the O’Level.
  2. OND holders with preferably Upper Credit in relevant areas are eligible for admission into year two in addition to fulfilling the O/L requirements as stated above.
  3. HND holders with preferably Upper Credit in the relevant area are eligible for admission into year three in addition to fulfilling the O/L requirements as stated above.

FUTO Minimum JAMB Cut-Off Mark for Admission

Candidates are required to meet the JAMB cut-off mark for FUTO in order to stand a chance of admission. Candidates must score at least 180 and above in the JAMB Examination.
